Ward is born April 15th, 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary school. She went to Ouachita High School to complete her second year of studies. She then transferred from there to River Oaks High School after the school year ended. She briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward left her high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling. A few years afterward she decided to pursue acting. In the 1970s, she played an uncredited character in the show All My Children. A couple of years later, she was cast for the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. In late 1996Ward got a job in the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. The year 1999 saw her movie career started by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the thriller erotica The In Crowd. It wasn't a major movie in theaters however, it was a huge success with home-video and cable. Ward played a support role in Shallow Hal the following year. Apart from her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in numerous guest appearances on television programs like Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet, the mother to a little girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She got married David C. Robinson, the producer. They had a child named Cameron.

She is also known as Dr. Pimple Popper she has over 13 million people following their You Tube Instagram and Facebook accounts. The TLC TV show Dr. Pimple Popper has included her in all six seasons.
